It features performances by Tyner with alto saxophonist Paquito D'Rivera, tenor saxophonist Chico Freeman, trumpeter Marcus Belgrave, flautist Hubert Laws, vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson, bassist Avery Sharpe, drummer Ignacio Berroa, and percussionist Daniel Ponce, plus a string section conducted by William Fischer.
