The story follows Zezé and Marina through five stages of life—childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and old age—marked by encounters, love, loss, and personal growth. Over the years, a tree they planted together in childhood grows alongside their life paths, until, in their old age, they reunite before it and contemplate the end of a cycle.
