František awakens in a decaying hotel, where, in his solitude, he reflects on memories of his mother. The space he finds himself in gradually reveals old traumas, suppressed desires, and a deep sense of guilt. As the fragile boundary between dogmatic faith and his own inner demons begins to collapse, he slowly loses control over his actions.
