Living with a single father whose military career frequently takes him away on business, Jesse is a lonely little boy who has never learned the true meaning of caring. When his father is suddenly called away on Christmas Eve and and he is sent to stay with his cousin, Gabriella, Jesse discovers a magical realm where toys spring to life to help him learn a lesson or two about love and family.
