The Touryst is a lighthearted action-adventure that casts the player as a lone vacationer arriving in a sun-drenched island paradise. What begins as a simple holiday soon takes a curious turn, as the tourist discovers that these idyllic islands hold ancient monuments concealing strange and long-forgotten secrets. Setting out from his destination of Touryst Island, the traveler hops between neighboring islands dotted with beaches, shops, and quirky inhabitants going about their own business. Rather than lounging by the sea, he devotes himself to investigating the mysterious structures scattered across the archipelago, exploring their depths and solving the puzzles that guard their hidden mechanisms. As he presses deeper into each monument and gains new abilities to reach once-inaccessible places, the tourist gradually pieces together the enigma binding the islands together, turning a relaxing getaway into a quiet adventure of discovery.
