ImpulsegamerMar 20255/5Sorry We're Closed is a well polished game. Overall, the combat is very precise and incredibly addicting. The horror element of having to be alert at all times and the back and forth of the fighting feels clever and creates a nice gameplay loop that keeps you on your toes. The multiple uses of the third eye ability is innovative and really opens up Sorry We're Closed to be its own unique beast. Getting good ratings through skill or fortuitously feels rewarding and makes you want to be more competent. The game is wonderfully paced and just feels immensely fresh. A rich world, complex and amusing characters, and a smart narrative produce a very entertaining experience. Open up your third eye and dive into this devilishly divine time!

TheGamerHilton WebsterNov 20244.5/5 starsSorry We’re Closed struck me deep. Every confession of love, every bullet through the heart, every day that Michelle woke up just to prove love is worth living for. Any kind of love, as long as you try. That’s the kind of game this is. Past the combat and puzzles, after the decisions and conversations. No matter what, it wants you to wake up each day and choose love.

Niche GamerMar 20255/10Quote noSorry We’re Closed caters to a very specific crowd. You’ll know if you are its intended audience just by the look of the game. If the imagery and premise entice you, just be warned that the combat system is not well thought out, and expect to cheese through most of it or chug an infinite supply of life-giving water.t yet available

ShacknewsLucas WhiteNov 20247/10Thankfully, Sorry We’re Closed only ran around six hours before I saw one of the endings. Those moments of anguish were not massive parts of the game, although they were gnarly roadblocks. Everything else, from the vibes to the storytelling, and even the combat when it was reasonable, were compelling to the end. I’m still curious about the other endings, but the trauma from that generator setpiece has me wanting to wait for possible adjustments or new settings in the future. Horror enthusiasts, especially those who revel in the weird, who are also secret gaming gunslingers and are cool with sudden spikes in difficulty will find a lot to like here.
