MKAU GamingJames Fraser-SmithJan 20269.5/10At a grim checkpoint on the brink of collapse, survivors arrive one by one, desperate to pass through, and it’s your job to decide who enters, who waits, and who is denied access.

TheBigBoisZachary HolmesMay 20258.5/10Quarantine Zone: The Last Check (Demo) is an imaginative and grimly compelling blend of strategy, horror, and moral dilemmas. It’s Papers, Please meets The Walking Dead, with enough dark humor and high-stakes decision-making to make it uniquely its own. It’s tense. It’s weird. It’s surprisingly deep. And it’s worth keeping an eye on. Borderline brilliant. Literally.

Press AttackGuilherme Gonçalves RibeiroJul 20267.5/10I started Quarantine Zone: The Last Check having a lot of fun, with new mechanics being introduced each day that began in the game. Simple and quick mechanics that made the game enjoyable to play. As time passed and many more mechanics were introduced, the game became tiring. The final equipment is unnecessarily tedious to handle. Each day of the game became more drawn out and time-consuming to finish. And so I slowed down the pace of the game and it gradually lost me. I really liked Quarantine Zone: The Last Check, but it loses much of its freshness after the beginning. Still, it's a fun game that brings very interesting elements to the genre.

PC GamerChristopher LivingstonJan 202660/100Some clever and grisly medical examination systems, but not enough base management and side activities to remain engaging for long.

Life is XboxAug 202662/100Quarantine Zone : The Last Check was a game that was fun to play on PC, but the console version just misses the mark thanks to bad controls. If I were to mark this down purely as a PC game, I would have given it a higher score because it is a lot of fun to play in that format, but the console version just feels like a bad port, unfortunately. Playing it on PC instead would be my suggestion.
