Servant of the Lake in another brilliant title from the Rusty Lake series. It offers a glimpse of the story about the first generation of Vanderboom—Alduos, Willian and Alexandra—and reveals the kind of people they are. The unnerving narrative and events that unfold during their family reunion will keep you engaged and curious. The puzzles are clever and well-thought-out; even if they are not that hard, it is still rewarding to solve. The full playthrough lasted about five hours—a pretty decent duration. This title will most appeal to long-time fans, but newcomers shouldn’t be discouraged. Even if you miss some narrative details, the gameplay is still well worth your time. I truly think any fan of mystery and point-and-click adventures will enjoy Servant of the Lake.

With an unsettling and macabre story, and a real variety of cleverly-designed puzzles, Servant of the Lake cements itself as one of the best point-and-click games of recent years. It may only be short, but it's an absolute delight to play.

Servant of the Lake is a point-and-click puzzle game developed and published by Rusty Lake. In another game in the Rusty Lake series, this time we take on the role of a new servant who is going to the remote Vanderboom family estate to help reunite the Vanderboom siblings. You will help with daily tasks, but you will also have some obscure tasks. What mysteries do the Vanderbooms have in store for us? I really enjoy the Rusty Lake series. Whenever I see that a new game is about to be released, I get excited to play it, since I know the quality the series has. Servant of the Lake was no different. They continue to deliver quality, a very intriguing story and peculiar situations, as well as very fun puzzles to solve. The developers continue to do an excellent job and always leave the player wanting more of this crazy universe that Rusty Lake presented to us. I'm already looking forward to what's to come and I hope that Servant of the Lake pleases new players and brings them to this incredible series.

Servant of the Lake expands the Vanderboom story with excellent puzzles, superb atmosphere and a welcome dose of character, even if its heavier storytelling and gentler difficulty occasionally dilute the wonderfully unsettling mystery that makes Rusty Lake so special.‍
