Gaming NexusEric HauterAug 20264/10It is tough to think of a measure by which Agefield High doesn't fail class. From the expressionless bimbo & himbo sex-bot character models to the constant droning butt-punk music, everything about this game just screams "No." Broken missions, broken mechanics, busted graphics, all wrapped up in one of the worst technical performance messes I've ever seen. I do love a good raunchy comedy, but in this case, I'm afraid that I have to recommend skipping school.

Thumb CultureAug 20262/5 starsOverall Agefield High: Rock The School comes off as just bad from the missions, combat, all the way to the open-world itself, which is rather empty. My time with it was riddled with crash after crash, and it just made it harder to get through. The story seems as if they took the best parts of any high school movies and gave it a mission with no actual build up. This comes from the lack of development with the characters themselves, with most seeming like they’ve known Sam for years. Another thing that disappointed me was just how little you are actually in the school, as most of what happens is out of school. Classes, excpet for Music are all the same which feels cheap and could have offered some different mini-games. The idea for the game is genuinely interesting, more so since I wouldn’t mind another game like Rockstar’s Bully. But in the end Agefield High: Rock The School, just isn’t it, so it’s getting the Thumb Culture Bronze Award from me. Maybe if it was held back a few grade for development, it might be better.

From a visual identity that both confuses and revolts to a gameplay loop that prevents itself from ever being enjoyable, everything about this game screams inadequacy—though it notably doesn’t scream lack of effort. If the game had more time to cook, say another decade or so, perhaps it would’ve been a passable homage to one of gaming’s most iconic coming-of-age titles. As it is now, though, it’s an unplayable, unlovable, unappreciable mess I’d rather forget than remember.

Raider KingAug 20261/10Agefield High is a truly awful game that had no right to release in the state that it's in, much less for $30. With awful gameplay that often doesn't work correctly, poor performance that will leave you sick, and a world so quiet and empty that it will turn you mad it's almost impossible to recommend this game to anyone. If you are a fan of the 2000s properties that inspired this title, then the best advice I can give you is to stay way and stick with those for now.
