Star Wars: The Clone Wars 2002

The Clone Wars has you deep inside the battles of the Old Republic through 16 missions, piloting a range of vehicles including speeder bikes, Republic Gunships and fighter tanks as well as the weapon of the Jedi, your lightsabre, for close combat. Whereas the Rogue Squadron series concentrated on aerial battles, The Clone Wars contains almost all ground battles. You must fight as Anakin Skywalker, Obi Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, and others throughout the game to prevent the Confederacy from gaining a deadly weapon. Multiplayer options are also included for up to four players with game types including deathmatch, conquest, and a co-op ground and vehicle survival mode. Set during the Star Wars prequel era, Star Wars: The Clone Wars drops players into the sprawling galactic conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Separatist droid armies. The story opens with the Battle of Geonosis, drawn from Episode II: Attack of the Clones, as Jedi Masters Mace Windu and Luminara Unduli lead a strike force to weaken Separatist defenses and rescue the captured Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi. As the newly formed clone army arrives to clash with the droid legions, the war erupts across the galaxy. Players take the roles of Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Mace Windu, alternating between commanding an arsenal of Star Wars war machines, from tanks and gunships to speeder bikes and starfighters, and wading into battle on foot with lightsaber and Force powers. From the arena sands of Geonosis to embattled Republic outposts on distant worlds, the Jedi lead the Republic's forces through the opening campaigns of a war that will engulf the entire galaxy.
