Girls und Panzer: Dream Tank Match is a tank-based combat game that takes place after the events of Girls und Panzer der Film. The game features two campaigns, one recaping the events of the movie and one in which you select one of the teams as they participate in tournament against the other schools. In addition, there is an Extra Battles mode which allows you to play out matches from the anime, as well as a Free Match mode.

If you don’t own the PlayStation 4 version, are a huge Girls Und Panzer fan, or just want to play it on the go, this is a great option for you. It does come at steeper price than usual with an import running $72.99 on the Switch. You can snag this on PlayStation 4 from Play-Asia for much less at $38.99. In the end, no matter which version of this you buy I think you’ll have a lot of fun and I do recommend anyone that is a fan of the series or that loves tank combat games to check it out.

Nintendo LifeMay 20194/10If you bought this hoping to see girls and panzers then the game does at least deliver on its titular promise, the polished presentation and copious amounts of chirpy schoolgirl banter trying their hardest to mask the game's numerous weaknesses. Unfortunately, Girls und Panzer's gameplay never makes you believe it's doing more than inoffensively coasting along on the back of the license's appeal; gaming's long history may be littered with half-hearted tie-ins, but there was no need to add another to the pile.
