Best friends and single moms Annie and Nikki were high school outcasts who have gone out of their ways to give their daughters what they felt they lacked. Proving no good deed goes unpunished, all the freedom and clothes they have bestowed on the girls has turned them into exactly the kind of girls who made the mothers' teen years difficult.
