Paul John McGann is an English actor. He is known for starring in the 1987 black comedy film Withnail and I, and for portraying the eighth incarnation of the Doctor in the 1996 television film Doctor Who; he reprised the role from 2001 in licensed audio dramas, as well as on screen in 2013 and 2022.
